Michael Platt
A graduate of Indiana University and the University of Colorado, Michael's primary instructors include Bernard Portnoy, Carl Bartlett and Jonathan Bates. With over 30 years experience performing and teaching and developing a positive rapport with students and teachers alike. Musical study with Michael can offer an excellent educational experience and value. But further, with relationships with teachers and ensembles across central Indiana, Michael can help arrange a successfully musical education experience for any student or group, whether that student is studying with Michael or other fine teachers and resources across central Indiana.
Michael is married and resides in Lawrence Township in Indianapolis. He and his wife have two sons, a cellist who is a graduate student in Physics and a violinist who is an undergraduate music student.
